Reflecting over past Land Cruiser model changes, the fundamental concept has remained unchanged: achieve the comfort and functionality of a sedan but deliver the superior off-road driving performance and durability of a vehicle at home in the harshest conditions. Throughout its storied history, Land Cruiser has come to be known as "the King of 4WD." Loved the world over, Land Cruiser inspires those who aspire to own a legend.
Tasked with managing the full-model change of such a legendary vehicle, I was guided throughout by a unique challenge: to appeal to our toughest customers by improving the function and performance of the flagship SUV to bear the Toyota brand, while more effectively meeting the expectations of drivers for whom social responsibility is a serious issue. The key phrase for this project — "King of 4WD All Over The World" — describes our desire in the 21st century to continue manufacturing the vehicle recognized in GCC, and worldwide, as the King of 4WD. In short, we believe this newly updated version will be deemed worthy to inherit the trust and confidence its predecessors have cultivated among drivers.
1.It is consistent.
Land Cruiser can survive the harshest conditions undamaged.
Furthermore, it is the embodiment of the all-purpose vehicle — superior ground-covering performance with a rugged exterior wrapped around a functional, spacious interior.
2.It is innovative.
Land Cruiser is not a king of the past. Its spirit is that of a trailblazer, forever seeking new challenges, pushing the boundaries with cutting-edge technologies that will inspire the next generation of genuine off-road 4WD .
3.It makes our dreams reality.
The dream — to own a vehicle that enables us to go anywhere, anytime.
We, the engineers working on the new Land Cruiser, have sought to develop a vehicle that allows you, the driver, to approach every challenge with confidence, be it an ordinary highway, city center or country road . or a blazing desert, freezing mountain, rocky outback, or raging jungle river.
1.totally new engine line-up and newly developed platform that improve basic vehicle performance
2.incorporation of new technologies for better off-road maneuverability
3.new equipment that is cutting-edge yet comfortable
Every effort was made to ensure that Land Cruiser 200 deserved the distinction of being the 1st full-model change in a decade.
The all new Land Cruiser, we firmly believe it remains the world-leading "King of 4WD."
The Pride of the Land.
